College Football - New Year Bowl Season Update

Below are the current standings as we are almost complete with Bowl Season and it is still a battle between Joel, B.I., Curt, and Young.  Everyone else is officially eliminated from capturing 1st or 2nd place overall.

All updates have been made  - Bowl Games, Conference Champions, Conference Game Champions, and Points for Teams Selected to Bowl Games.  Also, updates continue for the division I-AA FCS Playoffs as those with NDSU and Towson have continued/will continue to accumulate points in addition to Bowl game points.

I am pretty sure 1st and 2nd place comes down to Florida State regardless of what else happens.  If Florida State wins then Young and Curt finish 1-2 (I think), but if Florida State loses then Joel and B.I. finish 1-2.  I didn't see a scenario where B.I. can come in 1st because he has similar picks to Joel.

Current Standings

Remember, half of the pool money pays out for winning specific categories, so even if you are not in 1st/2nd overall, you will still be paid out for winning the 4 categories below by season end.

Not much has changed here.  Curt is still winning the Non Conference Bonus, while Joel won the conference points category, and B.I. is in sole possession on Shut Outs + 50 Pts Total.  B.I. can only lose this category to me if Florida State and/or NDSU and/or Oklahoma State put up 50+ points or Shutouts.

Late in Bowl Season, Tim still has the lead in Bowl Win points, but Amanda is right behind him!  The point of these bonus points were so people like Tim and Amanda, who have been terrible all year, can still have a shot all the way to the end to turn a profit.

Everyone (even Jack) is still eligible to win some money during Bowl Season.  The person with the most Bowl Win Points will win 25% of the Bonus Prize pool ($300/4 = $75), so you can almost double your entry fee!

Non Conference Wins and Shut Outs + 50 Points Totals still accumulate during Bowl Season, so those close still have a chance to win those.  Conference Win Point Totals ended with Conference Championship games, so Joel already won $75.
